Herdis Lee Wells. 84, of Norris City passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born on May 28, 1940 in Mt. Vernon, Indiana the son of Richard F. and Laura Lucille (Wiggins) Wells. Herdis had worked for Dernaco Construction and Engineering in Casper, WY as a welder on the pipeline. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.      Herdis loved life. He never met a stranger or someone he couldn't help. He loved to fish above all. Herdis was a loving father, husband, brother and grandfather. He has left this world and is in heaven with our Lord and Savior and we will see him again,      Herdis is survived by his daughter, Sherri (Steve) Tolley of Harrisburg; a son, Vincent Wells of Mt.
