Phylis Jean Weldin, 91, of Enfield, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Wabash Senior Living in Carmi. She was born on December 9, 1933, in Norris City, Illinois, the daughter of Ben and Mary (Cusic) Wicker. Jean married William H. "Bill" Weldin on June 4, 1954, and he preceded her in death on February 21, 2016. She graduated from Norris City High School in 1949. Jean worked at the sewing factory in Enfield, McLeansboro and Carmi. She enjoyed gardening, doing word search puzzles and sewing.      Jean is survived by her children, Janet (David) Hall of Grayville, IL, Randall Weldin of Carmi, IL, Wanda (Doug Quandt) Weldin of Dubois, IL. and Rhonda (David) Bachman of Carmi, IL; grandchildren, Laura (Matt) Daily, Shelby Bachman, Emma Bachman; a step-grandchild, Clayton Hall; one great-grandchild, Zane (Katilyn Martin) Clagg; and a special cousin, Dorothy Wheeler.
