Nathan Michael Buchanan, 49, of Carmi, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. He was born on December 15, 1975, in Carmi, the son of Michael and Sharon (Woodrow) Buchanan. Nathan graduated from Fairfield High School in 1994. He married Shelly Cross on October 5, 2024, and she survives. Nathan proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Persian Gulf War. He worked in construction. Nathan was a member of the Carmi Elks.
